This is a guest post by Leila Klein.
Many people know about Yoga, Mucho se conoce del mundo del Yoga, this ancient discipline that many of our related businesses have practiced and recommend. As entrepreneurs, we know that we live in a reality where time is short, we are focused on scaling our business, pitching our business, raising funds and investments and building a successful team. Yoga allows us to better manage entrepreneurship and more in our lives.
It is important to dedicate space for our emotional and physical well-being. Yoga, when combined with breathing, meditation and balance techniques, both physical and emotional, allow us to significantly improve our lives in many ways. Despite the hustle and bustle of our busy lives, and the unwillingness to non-work activities, it is important to decide to make a change.
Choosing to integrate this activity as part of your weekly routine is very beneficial and you will see immediate results. Yoga is an ideal discipline for entrepreneurs, because it makes the decision-making process much easier and quicker; decreases doubt and hesitation and helps the brain relax. It also quiets the mind from its rapid flow of constant thoughts.
Yoga helps us think clearly, but it also helps the other systems of the body that suffer from stress and tension. Far from being a waste of time, yoga is an investment. It is an investment of your time and your energy that allows you to grow both personally and professionally.
Learn to control your emotions + Make better decisions + achieve mental stability + increase and improve creativity + incorporate flexibility in the mind and the body + expand your world of ideas + understand different perspectives and from here make better decisions + significantly reduce stress levels +stabilize your energy and be more efficient in your work + be happier = YOGA
YOGA WILL ALSO HELP YOU TO…
- Control your ego: Through controlling the ego, we will have be more open to new suggestions, new challenges and new ideas.
- Remain more receptive to listening to tips and suggestions from others, whether with a loved one or an uknown person whom we encounter by chance.
- Accept mistakes and learn from them. Mistakes, that help shape our experiences, give us information that allows us to make decisions that will lead us to what we want to achieve.
- Rise above fears: In business, the fear of failure and losing everything slows us down. Many people don’t even dare to start, to lay the groundwork, as some don’t even dare to try a headstand in yoga, until they succeed.
- Maintain balance: When performing a yoga pose, you need to have all your senses alert, you need to be in the present, in the here and now, and not think about other things. Strength and focus are necessary. All of this, transferred to business situations, will make every task easier and more enjoyable, and then come the benefits.
You don’t need to be on the edge of imbalance to start, the time is now to start enjoying the benefits of this discipline. Slow down and you will improve your performance.
I would like to leave you with a quote from the spiritual leader and politician, Mahatma Gandhi, “Man often becomes what he believes himself to be«: If we live telling ourselves that we are not able to do something, then we may not be able to achieve it. On the other hand, if we believe that we can do something, surely we will acquire the capacity to do it even if we did not have the ability from the start.
